Well, well done to Chelsea then. 8-0 win even.

We could have finished 6th. Can't believe we hit the bar and post!

If that was Wigan putting up a fight, they may need a bit of luck next season....

      Did chelsea win?

They deserved the league this season.

Another plus that Drogba got the golden boot over Rooney.

But that's the story of our season. The only joy we've had is from other people's misery :-\

Here's to hoping that next season, we won't be looking in this thread as much.

      Interesting stat:

Chelsea dropped 28 points all season, we'd dropped more after the Stoke away game at the start of January.

Must be the earliest that we've been mathematically out of the title race in ages.

Seems to be the way of scoring goals at the moment, constantly seeing goals like that since Messi done it a few weeks ago

Tell me about it  I scored one like that last week as well

I remember Vela did it against Sheffield United, the one he scored a hat trick last season in a cup match as well.

Hmmm, I don't understand, why was that Portsmouth goal ruled offside? Did the scorer touch it back it Piquoinne?

Exactly mate, the only good thing to come out of this season is that the Mancs didn't win the Title.

Fair play to Chelsea as much as I hate them - scoring over 7 at home for the 4th time this year they fully deserve the title.

Its funny though that our defense was nearly as good as theirs, only 3 goals worse but our attack has been woeful.

Yeah, especially our away form. We've only got 5 wins away from home and only 18 goals scored in 19 games. That's really bad.

In contrast to last season, we won more away games than home (13 to 12) and we scored twice the amount of this season, 36 away goals, conceding 14.
