Are you in York itself mate or roundabout there?

Some lovely wee villages down that way - we went down both times the mrs was expecting my lads (summer 2000 & spring 2003).

My biggest memory of York is a footie one but not (amazingly) the red men.

We were in a boozer end Aug 2000 so my Mrs could watch the Old Firm game - Martin Oā€™Neillā€™s first one as ā€˜Tic boss. They won 6-2 and jaysus I thought she was gonna give birth on the pub floor she was that bloody excited!

      Good memories.

Just about 10/15 mins outside the city itself. It is a lovely place in fairness and lots to do and see.

      Jaysus, some game that though.

Wow mate, quite the change but best of luck! If you ever travel down Adelaide way send us a message :D

Only tip I can give ya with the f**king ridiculous LFC kick times is have the coffee handy/beer if it's a sh*t result and you wanna knock the angry edge off before trying to get back to sleep - the amount of nights I've been up an extra hour just being mad as f**k about the result, then am absolute dog sh*t at work the next day :D If you're not having to get up at any particular time though it's all good!

Cheers Big V Adelaide is our Ultimate destination as we have friends there and visited 3 yrs ago and fell in love with the place, we do intend traveling To Adelaide in order to visit the friends we have there so will gladly look you up if you don't mind?

We are in Collinsville for 3yrs and then aim to move south if possible.
      Steve.

Yeh sheā€™s quite superstitious so was determined to keep same hold routine with the 2nd pregnancy so we went to same place etc......

Keep saying weā€™ll go back but then end up booking Cornwall at Easter and Tenerife every Summer / October again.......Liverpool weekends get the rest of the hols ;)

May have to get the smile surgically removed from my face tonight.

My eldest lad - 16 - just got unconditional acceptances for Glasgow and Strathclyde Universities for next September.

Never seen a B in his life.

      Little beauty 😁

Well done mate, it's fulfilling to see ones legacy establish themselves academically..

I've won my litigation today against a window company... It's 4 years this month my issues started.

      Ā£16,000 windows/doors fitted, all failed..(long story).
I held back Ā£2500 for snagging initially, I got settlement of Ā£7100 plus all sets of doors & windows replaced like for like, with FENSA guarantees & 10 year warranties..

Litigation cost Ā£3000....if you ever go down the litigation route, just hold your nerve & have big bollocks ;D

      So I'm Ā£6600 better off..

Thatā€™s brilliant mate - yes it shows you that if youā€™re right (and can hold - and afford to - your nerve) itā€™s definitely worth fighting for!

Weā€™re really proud of him. Heā€™s a grafter on top of his gifts!

The best bit is that he gets to stay at home which - while it might inhibit his social life a bit - statistically has a huge positive impact on study time etc.

That's fantastic news for you're lad.

Always great when the hard work pays off and it will give him a great life experience that you can achieve what ever you want if you are willing to put in the effort.

      Cheers buddy. ;D

Although trying to get my National Insurance number confirmed from HMRC is proving to be time consuming and stressful!
Job Centre Plus advised because I was born in the UK and likely my parents claimed child benefit for me (until I was 4 and we moved to Ireland) that my NI number likely still would have been generated at 16 anyway so they passed me over to HMRC instead of doing an evidence of identity interview. Fun times...

100% recent interview record intact! ;D Congratulations mate, hope the new role goes well for you!

      Currently unbeaten in 2018! ;D Thanks! :)

Big chunk of money back from the taxman! Delighted.

After just over a year have just been made permanent at work, a relief which means a bit of security at long last after years of fixed term and agency jobs. Can look forward to booking some time off, starting with the world cup.
