Paddy Power is one of them.  According to some reporters he was seen storming out of Anfield this morning.

Are they the same book makers that stopped taking bets on us signing Ribery for £60 million.

Bookies are playing it safe lad basing it on the transfer budget story. Rumours are rife at the minute Mickey Quinn saying Rafa's gone and Sammy Lee will have the team tonight. Now explain to me how he'd know that? The only slightly nervy thing is a supposed comment from Aldo that he was "shocked" at what he heard today but out of respect to the club wouldn't give the details!

Honestly wouldn't blame him the way the owners have treated him and fu**ed him around. But it would be bad form to us fans and the players who have been loyal to him. Wait until i see something reliable, but there is way to much bad news and rumours coming from our club at the moment, really not much fun as a fan at the moment.

I've had a few texts as well.

Hopefully it's the same old sh*te that came around before we played Real Madrid last season. There's nothing on Radio City news about it. And they'd be in there like a shot.

Why do I have a feeling that this time it is more than likely true, I hope not because it would be at a devastating time for us.

Early days but who could replace him if it was to happen?

What they did say on Radio City news is that Rafa has ruled out any player sales before the window closes.

Funny that seeing as he's supposed to have walked.

Probably the budget he's been given, but he's also been quoted by the Echo as saying he's very pleased with the players he has now.

      Bloody bookies.

Yeah the constant lies that they spout in order to win the fans over is really doing my head in.

I am praying that it's not true but I think Rafa has had the wool put over his eyes over the money available to him and that's why he sold Alonso knowing he will have spare cash after Aquilani.

90% not true but feeling in my stomach he could walk.

      Same.

Hope it's not true, but we'll have to see what happens.

Surprise, surprise, the RAWK dictatorship have locked their "Rafa Gone" thread. Arses.

      Is there now? The bookies?

The bookies that suspended bets on Rafa leaving before the Madrid game and bets on Ribery joining Liverpool?

Um, yes, that's a far more credible source than anything the Official Forum can regurgitate. They speak a load of crap on there the majority of the time, whereas if bookies suspend a bet, you know something big is going on.

Add to that the fact that Aldo knows something that we don't, yet doesn't want to say. Interesting, albeit very nervous, times ahead of us.

This seems to have originated from a post on the official websites forum this morning.  A topic was started on this board earlier today which was locked because of the weakness of the source.

Maybe the moderators on the official forum were asleep or too busy trying to sell the £165 pre-match packages in Stanley Park?

Either way - internet rumours lead to an influx of bets with bookmakers and hence stories snowball out of control. At least this time we won't have to wait long to find out the truth.

My mate who works in the Academy reckons Rafa is being set-up by the Yanks to look the bad guy, especially if this walking out rumour is true.

Those two wankers are seriously underestimating the feeling the majority of fans have for Rafa.

They might own the club, but I expect every time they set foot in Liverpool, they'll need the full might of the US Armed Forces to make them feel safe.

Thats how pissed off I'm feeling right now.

Won't be long before there is a stars and stripes being burnt outside Anfield!

Sky have just shown Rafa inside Anfield, so no worries as yet!

Read it on RAWK too, and unless it's bullshit it's pretty unnerving.

The atmosphere tonight is going to be somewhat unusual, for sure.

Rafa will not walk out on us ... he may huff and puff in these testing times but he will not walk.  Rafa wants to bring home the title and no matter what happens or how little money we do or do not have, the title is possible this season.  Rafa knows this and that's why he won't go as he wants to be a legend. Do not fear anything, to paraphrase Kevin Costner ... believe and it will come.  Besides if Rafa does walk then who better to take over the helm than The Legend he brought back ..  King Kenny!

It's scary stuff, if it was just Paddy Powers you could write it off but there is a lot of sources on the internet talking about it as well. Obviously something did happen this morning. Maybe Rafa gave the owners some sort of ultimatium.
