I hate the fact he has a ponytail.
No good can come from that.

Patrik Berger managed alright with one.

I'm sure our Torres could manage a pony tail if he wanted.

So what will we do?    Drop him! ::)

Good luck Spiros! Hope Ayala still gets a chance...he looked good for a 18 year old on his full debut.

Yeah, it'd be silly if he started working in the kitchen serving the grub, wouldn't it?

Concentrate on doing your job, Sotty, not other people's!

guys am from greece and sotis was in my team. he is very good in the air and good (for a defender) with the ball. he has a hot temper but dont forget that in greece we all have a hot temper and thats one of the reason fans love him and opponents hate him. am sure there he will be passionate and carefull and cool at the same time. he fits perfectly in english football and he always give advices and helps younger players. he is a leader, we will miss him but we are excited about him. so fingers crossed for our sotis!!

I see he's signed a two year contract, same as Sami wanted and I know who I prefer. Anyway he's gone, and his replacements here, I was thinking about the Greek national team, I imagine this guy has played for years with them, every-time I've watched the national team they look hard to beat, not only that they play the game the right way, if anything this guy will be an asset to LFC, Rafa wanted experience and that's what he's got.

Those like Ayala and Kelly shouldn't worry, we needed another centre back, just look at the treatment table, and for the price he looks a bargain, or the transfers are coming back to reality, but whatever has got him here, I hope his career turns to gold and he can help us bring home the trophy's...

Seen a couple of people put this now, but I don't see the point.

Sami wanted regular football, not to sit on the bench most matches or the odd run out in the early stages of a cup run. Maybe if Sami had known in advance all the injuries we were going to have, he'd have stayed, because at least at this stage, he'd be starting every match!

Your right why drag up what might have been, no point really. He's no replacement for Sami, he's here because of an injury list, all I hope is if he's as half as good as Sami the he'll do......

I'm all for giving Kelly and Ayala "the youth" a chance to break through but if Carra gets injured in the coming weeks would you really want to rely on that partnership at the back.

Another shrewd move by Rafa IMO - We need a bit of controlled aggression at the back to ruffle some feathers. I wish him all the best! Come on the Reds.

      Agree entirely mate.

The only thing that concerns me is the talk of his temper. It'll be great if he can control it, but we don't want to see stupid fouls in or around the box.

Certainly looking forward to seeing him play on Monday.

Welcome to him, he's passed the medical and signed, hopefully he'll start on Monday and give us a solid experienced CB option alongside Carra.
