Sammy Eto'o is the best striker on the planet bar none, its no surprise when he was crocked barca's form dipped severely.
Anyone who watches Spanish football will tell you that, he's qualiard!!! no doubt.
David Villa is a class player also so both would be nice!!!

Agreed with what you have wrote there, with Eto'o maybe he'd give us pace and strenght up front and also being able to put the ball in the back of the net, with Villa he offers taking control of the final 3rd of the pitch, good at set pieces and has amazing technique but maybe a bit too lightweight but again so is Luis Garcia and look how many he's scored.

I don't think that £86m is how much they want for him, i think its a price to scare other teams of in other words if you want him you've got to pay the clause. I think if Liverpool went in for him and Villa wanted to leave I'm sure Valencia would have to accpet some sort of price which is not £86m.

With Dani Alves i think we need a player like him, for the right of midfield we've only got Pennant so we need another quality player there. Gerrard should not play on the right he's not as good there.

Torres' finishing in his last season at Atletico was fairly pathetic tbh ... I know I watched a lot of the games.

His finishing this season has improved beyond belief... well done lad!

Eto'o would be a possibility now that he's itching to move to the premier league, but I'm not sure that we want his ego as well. Bojan would be a nice addition especially since we could get years out of him. Doubt that he'll be up for sale though

yep argee with you on both parts but i wouldnt want bojan just yet even if he were to come, he's not big or strong enough yet and he will cost at least 30mill in my opinion barca have said time and time again that he is there future so he wont come cheap, and also add the fact that Eto and Henry are looking like leaving they wont have any other strikers so that pushes up the price more.

I know the guy is an arsehole, but I've always been a massive fan of Riquelme.

Should Xabi leave I think he's the ideal replacement. The guy seems to have so much time on the ball and is very talented. Plus he & Mascherano really compliment each other well for Argentina for whom they are the first choice for the central midfield.

He's back at Boca now.

But to answer the question of the 5 named players it would have to be Alves for me.
