On a more serious not I voted for Villa last year (would again this year too exculding Torres) but I did say that I thought Nando would adapt to the premiership!!

David Silva would be my favourite. young and talented, can play in different positions of midfield (for example, he could fill in Gerrard's role as an center attacking midfielder on our 4-3-3 - maybe u call it 4-2-3-1 - formation, also in both wings) and this kind of player should be our priority.

as much as I like David Villa, I have always preferred Torres over him and im not so sure if they work that well together - have they had a great partnership for Spain already? I dunno and it would cost a lot. if we sign a striker, my favourite name would be Mauro Zárate, cause ive been a fan of him for a long time now and it would be like a dream!

I think if were to approach Silva ,Alves,Eto,or Villa, then we would have to break the club transfer record which Nando set last season . And we dont have that sort of money for one player IMO

Nobody wishing for Lionel Messi or is it just the finances putting you off ? I do  seriously think David Villa would fit in nicely with Nando and could be within our financial reach if we off load a few mediocre players. We should get fee's for Kewell, Pennant, Voronin, Reserve Keeper ( sorry, forgot how to spell his name.) Mabey Crouch. Possibly Alonso, ( even if we disagree on those two) Riise, should get a few quid for that lot, plus a moderate transferr kitty. Rafa can do it,  we're only two or three players short of going to the next level.

daniel alves for me.simply because it would add another dimension to liverpool that we havent seen in a long long time...an actual full back with genuine pace and skill to get forward and overlap with purpose!!brilliant engine,decent at free kicks to,skillfull to.we all know he should be with us now but i have a feeling united will get him this summer.please rafa just go and get him!

For me i think we should be looking at Philp Lahm but he might be out of our price range can play left and right gives us the attacking of Alves but better defense but should we even have a price range with the yanks we expect money!!Where is it ? No where too be seen so far!!!

Lahm's a very good call actually, liking that idea but as you say, he wont be cheap

Lahm just signed on a new contract a couple of weeks ago so I think it puts him out of the picture for this season at least

Carlos Tevez...no doubt... he's a hardworker, he's got SKILLZ...and he pack a mean shot...what more can you ask for?

Alves is going to Baca so for me out of those on the list it comes down to Villa and Tevez and has Tevez has proved himself in our league I'm going for Tevez. Also there is one guy I'd love us to get and that's David Bentley.

Talking about Tevez he is a player i respect so much cos he is unpredictable he is very skillful i will say i go 4 Tevez but i would have love to see a better goal keeper come to stay in liverpool talking about wigan first choice goalkeeper Chris Kirkland.

If you want a better goal keeper than Reina, you wont get one. Not because there isnt a better one but no big keepers will be available for sale ever IMO (Buffon, Casillas, Cech etc).

Second, Kirkland?! He got shipped out of here for Pepe and IMO a great decision.
