      Font size has gone tiny
      Aug 26, 2009 10:51:16 pm
I've done something to my computer, the typeface is so small that I can't see what I've typed.

I think I had my hand pressed on the Ctrl button but I'm not sure, and the next thing I knew all the writing on the forum was tiny

      Can anyone help please?

      Ctrl + to increase

      Ctrl - to decrease.

And I think Ctrl 0 (zero) to reset.

It is likely to be what JD says, but if not try this:

      1. Go to 'view' on the toolbar.

      2. Click on 'text size'.

      3. Click on 'medium'

      Hope I've helped. :)

JD's method should work just tried it on my laptop :)

I've tried what you guys suggested, but to no avail.

I need to know what font size the forum should be in and also the font style.

Sorry but thats on internet explorer and I use Firefox.

We've managed to get it the font size normal again but now the screen is too wide and everything won't fit on the screen.

What JD said should've worked, but try this:

      View -> Zoom -> Reset (Ctrl + 0).

      That's odd.

Try downloading Safari or Google Chrome. They're good browsers.

Right, I've got my lad onto this and it looks like he's sorted it, not sure what he's done, but at least I can now read things and reply, as the buttons are a normal size.

Thankyou to everyone for your help and advice.
