How can you judge a player on just one half of reserve team football. I think from what I've seen of him before in SPL the high ball pplay from Bolton will play right into his hand...

Soitoris for the first goal... ;D

Fingers crossed for this one, lets hope for an easy win with no defensive cock ups, and a Ref that will take no messing in the new EPL game of Lets Kick Torres.

Kyrgiakos was sh*t in the reserves. Had a horrible feeling he would be playing here.  Real shame on Ayala that, and I actually think it's a bit out of order. Was Benitez watching the reserves game? I think not.

And Skrtel - how can he have been fit enough to play on Monday and not today.

I'm going to attempt to stay optimistic but my instinct is 'Bollocks'. Good to see Riera back though and no Babel. Interesting.

Agree with this post. Ayala I think performed better than Kyrgiakos, and I don't think he warrants a start. I'd rather have Skrtel a reliable defender for us than Kyrgiakos.

I can feel a bit of pessimism on the forum  ???

I'm afraid I've gone a 1-1 in the prediction league, as I don't feel hugely confident myself,  I sincerely hope I'm wrong and we come away from the Reebok with all three points.

      Good luck lads. :kop5cf8koxp6:

Strong team, looking for the 3 points. We can't afford dropping points like we have been. Come on lads, get out there and show us what we know you have got.

I predict 4-0 with Torres scoring a brace and Gerrard and Benayoun scoring the other 2.

      8-0 Liverpool.

Gerrard hat trick, Torres hat trick and Reina with a brace.

      Better? ;) :D

Yeah agree togtally, drop Stevie back in centre atleast till aguilani comes good.... Cant dominate matches with two centre mids on the defensive....Lucas needs a big game...

Bench is awful apart from skittle and benny ovo!

Voronin literally aaint good enough to start for bolton....

      COME ON DA POOL!

      1-3 TORRES 2 & RIERA

Only "good" thing about keeping Yossi on the bench is for having an impact player ready to play later in the game.

Last 8 games at the Reebok. 3 wins 3 defeats 2 draws. Villa hadn't beaten us in 8 years and look what happened there.

Mmmm, I was thinking of a 1-0 loss, but went for a 2-1 win. I think we are all down at the moment, not only with the results but also the lack of funds, and general 'fed-up-ness' of the whole H&G, nothing happening thing at the moment. They do not even show there faces any more. But back on topic, Come on Reds, FFS PLAY as a TEAM.

Wher's Cav? I doubt it would be particularly important but should Reina get injured I'd feel safer with him than Gulacsi.

Not being pessimistic , but after last monday I'm pretty nervous to say the least, I'm sure we can do Bolton , but anxious  how the game developes , hoping for a big start and put it right quickly and hoping also for a GOOD refereeing  too seeing  vs  villa(first half) and spurs

Yeah you are right everything can happen in the PL (Villa is the perfect example), but I think we will countinue the winning steak against Bolton. We have 6 wins in a row now :)

We have never lost to Aston Villa at Anfield for many years, a team that could not even beat Rapid Vienna over two legs.
I'm not afraid of them, I'm more afraid of our destructive ability to committ suicide. ;D
