      I'm still bemused why he was loaned to Real Madrid last season.

      Would anyone care to explain?

      I think I saw him play a few times pre-season for West Ham but he hasn't played this season in the Premier League yet has he?

      He might have gone to act as cover for Ramos?

      They didn't have any other right-backs last season, did they?

      Well they had Miguel Torres.

      Even still, I don't get why Faubert? If he was any good then West Ham would've wanted to keep him surely?

      I think there was a small fee (around £2.5M) involved with the loan deal, so that's why West Ham were so willing.
