In a strange way I am looking forward to this, mainly because it's the first live footie game of the season that I will be able to watch on TV without the picture breaking up!

Obviously I hope we win, but would rather not have an international break, but this may do us some good to re-group. Fingers crossed that "we" do not get any injuries.

Just a side point, now long will the Wembley Faithful take to return after their drinky-poos at halftime.

I'm quite looking forward to it too actually even though it's just a friendly.

I have no idea what the squad is but I'd like to see something along the lines of:

Would've thought line-up's would be out by now...

Edit: Ah, didn't realise kick off was 17:30.

Not a fan of friendly's but will watch it and good line up to start, thought that Lennon and Defoe would start as they are two of the in form players at the moment.

Johnson has looked good going forward, but Slovenia are passing through him on the right. Which is a bit worrying.

Gerrard is wasted on the left, though he has a Torres-esq partnership with Fat Rooney, which is good for England I guess. Take Fat Frank off, stick Gerrard in Middle, put Young on left, and boom.

Heskey, is useless. He holds the ball up, and nothing else. Get Crouch on, he can do the same, but can actually play on the floor.

That penalty was strange. Rooney just swept his legs out, taking out the defender in the process and won a penalty!

Hey maybe Torres should start doing that...

Wouldn't mind Gerrard and Johnson being withdrawn now, although I don't expect to see Glen substituted.
