Missed the game as i went out to see Robbie Fowler play but watching highlights and reading the match thread, sounds like a very satisfying result and we even found a gear we havent hit thus far this season.

Well done Reds and congratulations to Yossi, superb!

PS: Anyone know where i could get a full game download?

Haven't caught up with the game yet, but the result was enough.

Shame Torres isn't firing on all cylinders but well deserved by Benayoun.

Only thing that I felt let yesterday down was that it was the perfect chance to give Jay 25 minutes or so of league football.

Didnt see the game myself but the goals were class, some individual brilliance and good team passing shown.

Very happy that we put them away so convincingly.

I hope Torres has not fallen into any sort of lull here, he was very quite for Spain hope he can get a few against Debrecen.

Just back this morning from liverpool after getting the overnight boat home to Belfast, absolutely wrecked after getting woken up at 6am in the morning  :f_steam: but of course it was all worth it after yesterdays win  ;D

Well . . what can i say, great match, fantastic weekend! Was just great to get back over and be in Anfield, always really special for me because its not often i get there. Have to say though that You'll Never Walk Alone was amazing, was quite choked up with the emotion of it all, with everyone singing together. Anyway, well the match was brilliant, pleased that Yossi got his hat trick, he deserved it, worked sooo hard the whole match and kuyt aswell, nice to see him on the score sheet too. Would have liked to see Gerrard or Torres score but we won 4-0 so I'm not complaining. Could have been a lot more but its 3 points so I'm happy.

Looking forward now to champions league on Wednesday  :)

Great pass for the 4th goal from him. If Stevie does it were raving about it thats all. My job for the season is to highlight every positive thing he does    ;)

Where did the steward take a dive  ;D ? I was in the upper Kemlyn

Fair enough. He did get an assist and it was a nice weighted pass. I just thought from the moment he stepped on the pitch, he looked his old self with the lack of determination. But he done well to assist Yossi.

I was jesting about the steward - I know a steward called Andy though and he once feel over getting over the boards before half time.  ;D You should have give us a shout mate, didn't know you were going.

Agreed. Still pleased with that display yesterday. Nothing like an important game coming up a few days later to keep the momentum going!

Great win, I heard some joker moaning about the atmosphere on the radio after the match- get a life!

The atmosphere was good where I was sitting, especially as Burnley offered nothing to the game.

Torres seems to have his head down at the moment, started after the first minute when he got clattered and got no free kick for it. Hopefully he will get it together, a goal would've sorted him out yesterday. I thought Lucas had a good game and we didn't miss Masch, albeit against Burnley but that's what you want - people able to step in and be solid. I said on Friday night, Burnley are gonna get it off someone and I hope it's us!

Great day, just a shame the Mancs won (both of em).

I was sat in the main stand (block MB) and thought the atmosphere was great.Burnley boys sung there hearts out as did the protesters outside!

Torres was awful,he was in Burnley's # 5's pocket for most of the game, went down too often and never looked happy.

      He needs a goal.

My lad loved his first game and my dad missed the second goal as he went to fetch drinks!!
