Class that advert. Zidane is probably the greatest midfielder ever and the fact he holds Gerrard in that position says it all.

What was with the notepad with Liverpool crossed out and Madrid circled? Did i just not get that bit or? Otherwise freakin sweet advert!

I'd assume that Zidane's off to Madrid for the next advert, probably to have a look at Kaka. Don't know why though, he just watched the best player on the planet.

F***ing FANTASTIC ! That was like one of the coolest commercial I have ever seen . I hope they play it in India ( we have the Messi one but not the Stevie one ) , that commercial was so really , but I would've liked it instead of the cartoon version the real on would've been good too . But an amazing commercial . Alot if the lines sent shivers down my spine especially the last one . Stevie G is our power house and our leader .

Chillout it's quite simply seen as crossing off the list another world-class player who wears adidas, Zidane has seen. Something similar happens at the end of the messi one too!

Yeah could be. Considering Zidane works for Madrid, I was thinking it was some sly way of saying that Madrid might be the place Stevie should be. Probably not of course, but just seemed a bit off.
Otherwise great add, and some cracker lines. Superstar, legend, a god, our Stevie G is.

EDIT: Just saw your post Huyton haven't seen any of the other adds but will look them up to see what this theme is. There aint no world class at Madrid bar Kaka in my mind :

The reason Liverpool was crossed off and Madrid wasn't, was it was like a checklist. He observed Liverpool's superstar, and had that checked off his list, and off to Madrid.

I guess because this years champions league final is in Madrid and Zidane thinks he will be there representing liverpool.. imo

Go on to the adidas offcial site it explains the whole thing there ( during themessi commercial he said he neded 11 players ) . It means that he's off to find tis next player for his ultimate 11 .
