      Didi Hamann!

Always loved him, not only as a player, but also outside the pitch. Great man.

Met Didi a few years ago he was in Jalons on Smithdown Rd. having a scran with Babel and he walked in the bathroom as I was walking out just shook his hand and had a quick word, what was sound tho was the way he had time for everyone even believe it or not when he was eating his meal, there were kids coming up to him and he was signing autographs and smiling at them - so was babel for that matter. He seemed like an ordinary unassuming fella with no airs and bullshit about him there really is only one place he should be - his adopted city.

Do ye know what I loved about Didi. In his 7 years at Anfield he always gave his all and was more often then not outstanding but rarely if ever did he moan in the press or moan about contracts in public. 1 or 2 lads could learn from him. Liverpool through and through be only glad to have back

Great news to hear, him being back at the club.

I can see a few Diddy-Didi's coming out of the youth teams in a couple of years.

passing machine absolute class act legend of player and very smart i reckon people like him hyypia and gary mac would give our coaching staff alot more versatility

for one othere all players who have a certain are of expertise

sami for example great stand off defender which would help carragher and skrtel and agger who lets be honest dont have pace

gary mac to show passing range to players aquilani whos gonna take time to adapt to english football

and did whos a very smart midfielder very rarely lost the ball and knows how to dictate tempo which would come in well for mascherano etc for hoever much longer hes gonna be with us
