The Beatles: Rockband (Wii)

I love The Beatles, and this game has most of their best songs.

The story of the game follows the progress of the group, from when they form and throughout the key moments of their career and albums.

Whilst the graphics on the Wii are far from those on the PS3 and XBox, the psychedelic backgrounds and animations are really faithful to the 60's style. The Fab Four are well represented in the game too, we can clearly see who is who.

A fantastic game from what I've played of it so far, though one reservation I have is that too many of the songs are too easy to play. Still, a cracking game, though if you aren't a fan of The Beatles then I probably wouldn't recommend it. For those who are, it's a must!

EDIT: Forgot to add this game is compatible with the guitars used in Guitar Hero. I have the guitars from Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock and Guitar Hero: World Tour, both of which work fine.

Another reason why Liverpool is the greatest city in the world, look forward to this one, although im learning to play the guitar for real...ha ha.

Good luck, something I dropped when I was younger and regret. Would love to try to start again, but I have so little free time it's unbelieveable (expect for the nearly 70 days spent on this forum, of course! :.

As for the game, well worth getting!

This game is absolute quality.

Got it for the PS3, always thought these guitar heroes games looked stupid but then I played rock band 2 in a mates house pissed and had a laugh. I'm a big Beatles fan and I just think this game is absolute quality. Shame the likes of Hey Jude and Strawberry Fields etc. aren't on it. Can't wait to get a few mates round before the pub and belt out a few tunes!

It doesn't have Let It Be. I would get it, but gonna get Halo ODST in a couple days instead.

I was the same, when I saw them advertising on telly I though "What a load of crap!".

It really is the kind of thing you have to try before to judge, because (and sad as this may sound) at times you do get the impression that you're really playing!

(Guitar Hero kicks Rock Band's ass, though, big time! ).

No idea mate, though it wouldn't surprise me given the vast number of songs they did.

Then again, maybe they'll save them all for a Rock Band Beatles 2?

My bro bought this yesterday along with the drum set for the PS3, really fun to play!

Already had a guitar from Guitar Hero, so I go on guitar and he goes on the drums - quality!

On second thoughts, when you aren't involved that drum set is quite frankly, F***ing annoying.

I use the guitar from Guitar Hero for it.

My brother bought the Rockband Drums so I'm not sure about the drums or Mic, I'm guessing they should do though.

I go back on what I said. The fun part has been overrided by the annoyance of someone else playing it.

It's so annoying when my brother's playing the drums. Just a constant banging noise. If you're downstairs it's even worse. It sounds/feels like the floorboards are going to come through as a result of him hitting the pedal.

Think I may stab him in a minute - and this game is to blame!
