I agree I think he had a good game and took the best penalty of the lot.  Showed great enthusiasm and ran his socks off!!!

I critisised bolo after wednesdays game but he was excellent tonight. He was solid and gave us options going forward. He is not the long term answer but I we have to support the players while they are at the club

Nice one redkenny, although we may think some of the players are not good enough for lfc we still get behind every player and hope they do the best for the club. Bolo was excellent tonight and I was hoping he would take a pen as he has good tecnique and I was confident he would score

Stepped up for that first penalty and set us on our way.  He may not be our greatest players and probably won't help us win the Premiership but some of the stick you landed on him was out of line especially when he wasn't that bad in the first leg.

You should all be ashamed if you slated him.  A very 'un Liverpool' way.

No your right.  That isn't what I was really trying to get at.  It was just that some people seemingly didn't even watch that first leg game - we lost so some people have to find a culprit.  Zenden was an easy target but he actually played fairly decent.  That was my point.

I've had a crack at Pennant on the forum but if we lost I wouldn't immediately look to blame Pennant.

Anyway, he probably won't get another game for us. Or is there another twist in the Bolo Zenden story...

the guy was  great today...didn't try and beat and beat his man too much and kept to containing and remaining wide...and to score the first penner?...thats class....well done mate and enjoy your lamborghini and get a few new highlights...you deserve it

I have to disagree, I'm no 'Bolo fan but he did well tonight and if Gonzalez had a bit more about him the left wing wouldn't be a problem position.

he did his job. in the last game he wastold to take ferrara on the flanks but he has no speed so today he stayed wide but looked for options inside...a very controlled performance....and a member a memeber of a team of heros,,,, Smicer anyone?
