Don't forget Dirk Kuyt and Benayoun ;)

Wouldn't call Kuyt world class at all to be honest.

Benayoun is probably one of the most under rated players in the league, very very skilful and useful to us but I don't think he'd go in the world class bracket either.

Reina having a good season, world class??
Carragher? On reading some of your  members post, they disagree
Mascherano?? Improving all the time. Not world class yet!! though
Gerrard? He's without doubt one of the best.
Torres? One of the best strikers in the world. ( certainly top three )

      Regards.

Your bias is getting relatively annoying.

Reina has consistently been one of the best 'keepers in the world for the last four years. If you disagree with that, then you really don't know what you're talking about.

Carra when on-form IS world-class, but most of the time this season he hasn't looked particularly great. Hopefully he's back to form now after keeping Rooney and Berbatov in his pocket.

Mascherano is possibly the best defensive midfielder in the world. Everyone apart from Mancs admit it, and I really have no idea why. Can you explain why he's not world-class?

Gerrard and Torres, well. I'd say Torres is THE best striker in the world at the minute, and Gerrard needs no words. He's not world-class, he's a class above.

You better take a look at the Dirk Kuyt Player Thread  and take those rose tinted classes you have on. Wake up and smell the coffee.

Reina is world class, he's been smashing club records since he joined. Second only to Iker IMO.

Carragher is up there certainly. He's been in poor form but two or three bad games doesn't make him sh*t. And in all honesty I don't really care if some knee jerking Liverpool fans on here think he's past it or whatever. He kept one of the world's best strikers quiet for 90 minutes and his days are apparently "numbered".....

Mascherano is definately, along with Essien, in that world class bracket. He's got the energy, determination and passion and he's the best tackling midfielder in the world at the moment. If he can develop other areas of his game he'll be even better but even now he's up there with the best.

Liverpool Football Club are not a two man club. As Paul Tomkins said if you follow that logic then a "no man team" beat you last season at Anfield and a "one man team" beat you on Sunday. You must be F***ing sh*t then.

Reina having been the most consistent keeper in the prem collecting golden glove after golden glove, world class

Mascherano?? Best holding midfielder in the world and thats why Barca want him, world class !

Carragher?Had a poor start to the season but has shown form is temporary class is permanent, world class

It would be like saying because Utd were poor the other day that Rio and Vidic are not a world class pairing no ?

Reina, yes definetly world class, 218 appearances and 108 clean sheets for Liverpool, won the golden glove 3 seasons in a row.
Carragher, been a legend forever, definitely better than the donkey himself, Rio Ferdianand, I wouldn't be suprised if Capello dropped Rio and pleaded Jamie to come back.
Mascherano, AHEM. Captain of Argentina, absolute animal and throws himself on the line week in, week out.
      Gerrard, THE BEST.
Torres, Top 3? Who would you say is better than him? At the moment. I can't see anyone better than El Nino. 80 Percent fit and made Ferdy and Vidic look like Amateurs.

Personally i don't know a better striker than Torres at the moment. However, that's just my opinion, others will differ.

Of course that's how you would interpret anything that was a bit too close for comfort you're clutching at straws and as the season progresses and your patched up team falls apart just as your manager is now, the posting will degenerate further into MANiC ramblings and hysterical spelling mistakes.
