Ferdinand is definitely one of them

Saw him for Juventus against us in 2005 and he was absolutely sh*t.  I haven't seen him prove that first impresion wrong in the times I've seen him snce.

How he is worth Eto'o AND 35m is beyond me.  I'd give him and 35m FOR Eto'o.  Moron must have been laughing at the way that one turned out.

Bloody hell, all his managers have kissed his ass saying he is the best and he has said he is the best blah, blah, blah.

Well the fact is if you are the Best you will perform against any team from any country. So far every time Ibra has faced an English team he has been woeful and shut right out the game.

Torres is a good example of what a contender for Worlds Best Player is. Inter, Chelsea, United, Madrid, Arsenal and even Porto because they seem to cause a lot of problems for the top teams in Europe. He has torn them all apart and scored great goals against them.

Also Berbatov, Nani and Anderson. F***ing hell, they are lucky they play for United because if they were with us (thank god they're not) they would have committed suicide with the negative things put their way. They take utter sh*te to a new level.

Kleberson.

Not in England, where everyone only saw his worst stuff, but a lot in Brazil. Mainly because of what he did 7/8 years ago - in 2001, he was the main player of the Brazilian league champions; in 2002, World Cup champion, playing very well, including the final.

But since then, what has he done?

Failed in England, did nothing in Turkey, than came back to my team, Flamengo. I hate him cause he's rated based on cliches - commentators say he has a good passing ability, a powerful shot and praise him for versatility. Now let's go to the facts: yes, he makes some very nice long passes at times, but to make 1 right, he makes at least 3 stupid things on the way, which includes losing the ball in defence. No, he doesn't have a powerful shot, he can't shoot at all! In almost 2 years at Flamengo, he only scored 2 goals from outside the area: both deflected on center backs. And oh my god, versatility? Is that the word you use to a player who just dont know what he's doing on the pitch? He's not deffensive, he's not offensive, he's f**king useless.

I'm still trying to understand how he got back to the national team, even Flamengo fans were laughing of Dunga's choice, it makes no sense! He was our 3rd best midfielder, at best. I would say 4th or 5th. From Flamengo. Mind you from Brazil!

I'm not proud of saying such thing but I'm happy he got injured and is out for months. It probably means he has no chance of going to the World Cup anymore, which is great. Also, Flamengo are doing very well without him (11 games unbeaten at the moment!), and I'm happy not to see a player being selected based on his "experience" and curriculum. It was f**king SEVEN years ago! Dear Kleberson, I hope you recover from your injury, then you can just f**k off!

Ronaldo.

Most teams are just so scared by his reputation that they let him go, but in the games i have seen where a team plays him right then he is useless. Never worried us a whole lot, and neither a lot of big teams. And he was lost against the true star in Messi in the Champions League.

I know he has a lot of goals, and all that crap. But i feel when a team stands up to him, he is sh*te. Overrated.

Zamora - the simple fact being he is in the Premier League and usual starting striker for a side in Europe. How is this allowed and even possible?

Lescott - 20 how much million? bi*ch, please.

Fabregas - some of the crap some people say about him just makes me question whether i'm missing something. He's good, not great. He's like Alonso, good but not world class.

Vidic - all he's good at is disappearing acts.

Foster - England call up? bi*ch, please one more time.

Robinho - 32.5m? Barca want him? He's done less than Bellamy and Petrov in what they've achieved this season.

Rooney.

Another bulldog (dulldog for me) who has nothing to his game but strength and the ability to pass. Just happen to think he's the most overrated player. Nothing worth the 26M. I dare say even I rate other players like John Carew and even Kalou even higher than him.

Benzema, He's not everything he's hyped up to be, Torres is worth ten of him.

Fabregas over-rated are you wasted the lad is what 22 years old and can run a game already...   You really have no footballing knowledge if you think cesc is over-rated he is class... Diouf was a player who was over-rated...

Joleon Lescott - Slow, and sh*t.

Van Der Sar - Some people think he's the best in the league. What. The. F**k. I'd rather have Reina, Friedel, Given, Cech, Jaaskeleinen, Almunia, Jensen or Schwarzer instead of him a million times over.

Vidic - Dirty b***ard, that's how attackers don't score, not because of his defending skills.

Berbatov - Plays as if he's the best in the world, strolling around the pitch without a care in the world. If he produced the goals week in, week out, it wouldn't matter so much, but he just simply doesn't.

Well with Lescott + Berbatov people actually dont rate them, lots think Lescott is way over priced and lots think Berbatov is extremely lazy

Don't think Fabregas is over rated at all. He's a top, top player in my book. I'd love him with Masch in our midfield, what a midfield that would be!

Agree with RLB about Benzema, all the hype after the move to Madrid and he's been sh*t since.

well the majority are overrated anyway! I'd say VDS, Ferdinand, Vidic, O'Shea, Anderson, Scholes (now), Berbatov, Nani, Macheda, and Fletcher are all overrated IMO.

I saw benzema when Real came to Dublin and he was the best player on the park by far... Had a tidy little finish aswell so I wouldnt call him over-rated...

I agree with most of the people mentioned already, bar Cashley and Fabregas. The Pool player that I feel is over rated most (and that actually plays at times) is Babel.

Sorry there mate! A traitor in my eyes will always be an over rated player. While Cashley Cole turned his back on Arsenal for cash of Chelsea the same goes for Mickey Owen.

I don't think Cesc Fabregas is over-rated at all. He's a top player for me. At 22 and he's assists and scores like nobody cares.

Overrated for me are:
Benzema - Never thought he was world class, IMO

Ibrahimovic - even though he scored a cracker and has a wonderful solo goal to his name during his Ajax days, I actually feel Eto'o is better. He only looks good in Barca because of the players around him

Berbatov - Anyday, I'll choose Torres

Ronaldo - he's good and skillful but not THE best in the world.

Gerrard. I mean he scores from 6 yards or 40, inspires his team to impossible victories, leads with passion in his heart. But I mean he could do SO much more right?

I really think Ibrahimovic is overrated but to be fair to him he has being a revelation in Spain so far this season and for 2 seasons he was the outstanding player in the Italian league.

And who did they play? :  

It was against Shamrock Rovers who were in the middle of their season and they made it a real frustrating night for Real until benzema stole the show with a great finish and he should have had another with a wonderful shot that hit the post... I know he played a poor team but he was the stand out players when all his other team mates played sh*t....

And Kaka over rated now thats just taking the piss he is savage and I know that if I was told he was going to Liverpool next year I'm pretty sure I'd Jizz....

With a keeper, you need to be able to trust them, with Van Der Sar, he's just extremely unreliable.

Two of the most overrated players for me are:

Bendtner - i like Wegner, but i don't see what he sees in Bendtner. He's useless (although he did score against us the other day...)
Berbatov - good touch, that's about it.

How the world do people say benzema, kaka, ronaldo are overrated. Benzema is unbelievable he tears la liga to pieces, kaka was bril at milan but not cutting it at la liga but still world class and ronaldo we all know what he can do!
