I don't think creativity was the issue. We weren't clinical. We created more than enough chances to win the game, and we didn't put enough of them away. Babel missed 2 good chances, Torres missed one, Kuyt missed two, Lucas missed one, Voronin missed one absolute sitter.

We need to take our F***ing chances. If those chances had fallen to Torres or Gerrard, they'd have been goals.

If we won it 1-0 then we would have depended on a draw between Lyon and Fiorentina or a Lyon win.

Now we are depending on a Lyon win.

Problem being though is that Lyon aren't going to be too interested now they're through.

Proud of our performance considering how much the odds have been stacked against us. We played like warriors tonight and we were so unlucky at the end.

Disappointing end to a good game, Liverpool did their best, we had the lion's share of the game, but we left it too late. It was always going to be a tough job to go there and win.

1-0 and 1-1 aren't too different in the context of the group as I said before. The huge jump was between 1-0 and 2-0.
