Pretty much as I expected to be honest, we have to gather round and support everyone in a red shirt tonight, yes, even Voronin, as much as the majority of us dislike him, if he's wearing the RED of Liverpool, we must get behind him.

Don't get me wrong, I want him to play wonderfully, scorea hat-trick, have the season of his life, make himself undroppable.

But on his present form, I'm not really reassured to see his name.

Much how i feel

Actually bearing in mind the injuries I can see the sense in Voronin starting with Torres now.

Torres will be going off probably for Babel then you have always get N'gog as somebody extra to keep the tempo up.

Much better than having Torres off and needing to bring Voronin on.

The problem is Torres probably won't last the game so I hope we are not trying to win the game with Torres gone off the pitch and a strike force of Babel and Voronin.

Voronin's a lucky man, now lets see if he pays the manager back with a goal or two.

Hopefully Alberto can play more than 20 minutes tonight because I think we're going to need him.

Y'all keep missing the fact that Voronin has good touches. If he stopped show-boating attempts, he could be very good!

The side looks good to me. Having N'Gog and Aqua to bring in deeper in the game is a good thing. Torres won't go the 90, so N'Gog will come in and if Voro is utter sh*t like we expect, Aqua will be able to play for 30 minutes or so.

Voronin in the starting XI ? But hope he gives in a decent performance for God's sake. He does owe one for a long long time.
Super-excited about Aquilani. Hope to see a fair amount of him in the second half.

Probably the best team we can pick from to start. Voronin, as much as I can't stand him, will be giving their defenders something else to think about rather than just the not fully fit Torres. So if his (Voronin's) presence does something, even if his abilities can't, then there's no complaints from me there.

Just up to the players now.

And of course, Rafa, coming on and scoring the winner if things are going bad. Because it's obviously his fault the players can't win.
