Enke commits suicide

That's heartbreaking. It really gets to me when I hear this sort of thing. To be so sad that this is the option you're left with.

Just watching the sports news channel and heard this. I was stunned. What a shocking thing to hear He was a fantastic keeper, too.

Best wishes to his team mates and coaching staff, too. They must be hit really hard by this.

And of course to his family. His poor wife - my heart goes out to her. Lord knows what pain she is feeling.

Many reports stating that he never got over the loss of his 2 year old daughter who had a heart problem,poor soul.Cant imagine the pain he was hiding.

Really shocking and saddening.

Thoughts go out to his family and friends.

Bloody hell when i saw on the internet people saying he will be missed i thought he had just retired.

RIP and wish his family all the best.

Just watching SSN putting into perspective the depression he suffered after his daughter died.  Really heartbreaking to think of what his family, and especially his wife has to go through after losing their daughter and now him.
