I remember seeing him play in a UEFA final against Rangers for St Petersburg and he was electric,, me and my friend were literally praying since that day that we would have signed him.

 I think he is one that got away I remember him mentioning Liverpool as one of the teams he would play for in England before he signed for anyone. I think he would have being a revelation at Liverpool and I think he would have chosen us over Arsenal if he had the choice.

After Henry now's Arshavin talking about how great we are being a Liverpool fan! Even if Fergie didn't or will never acknowledged the fact but still there are top players out there admitting being in Anfield especially the fans is the kind of feeling they wished they never loose. Kudos to all the Liverpool fans here and out there for being the best in the world!

Between Wenger's backing of Rafa this season and this, i feel there's a love affair in the works here. Good to see a club that as a whole doesn't piss me off much at all. I can't really think of any players at Arsenal these days that pisses me off too much. Adebayor always gave me the shits, but he's not there now. If i have to pick anyone to win the title this year bar us, i would like them to lift it.

I don't have an article at hand but I remember reading a rumour that Rafa tried to snatch Arshavin from under the noses of Arsenal on deadline day but Keane's return to Spurs took too long and until all the papers were signed, we couldn't be sure that the Keane money would be available. Yet another one that slipped through the net.
