      Just got a new laptop and was wondering if anyone could shed some light on how to connect it to my Hi-Fi speakers so I can get a better sound?

      If you hifi speakers have co-ax red and white (right and left) connectors you can get a cheap 3.5mm to co-ax splitter, these work well and are like £1 from Tesco.
