We got good momentum at the moment and it would be massive confidence boost for the club to have a good run and win this cup. The majority of the current squad havent won anything with the club yet and what better way to start the habit 

although there are some decent teams in it, i think we could easily go all the way with this one.  although tbh i would rather finish 4th and have champions league football next season than come 5th and win the europa league.

I want this cup! Win this and we become the most succesfull side in the history of the UEFA/Europe league, think someone mentioned it a few pages back. And we haven't won a tophy for a few years, success breeds success, so let's take it seriously and win it.

Basically were in it so we have to try and win it, simple as that. Don't want that knocked out feeling again.

Some good teams in this europa cup ! to play in it we have to compete and play our best football ,be nice to win this cup and gain another trophy ..yep I care about it ,any time we play must be our best and this is no exception .let's do our best to win !

I would love to see lfc winning this first cup. It isn't my first priority but will celebrate it like any other cups.

With the season we have had a final would be nice for us fans to get to and enjoy hopefully with a win,follow that on with another final in the super cup and again win and finally we can go onto the club championships and win and come back as world champions with our pride intact.

First bit i dont agree with but the rest i do.

I care we need a ray of light shining through this season. Something to look back on to say it was a success.

We weren't selective in the sixties when we played the Inter Cities Fairs Cup.

If we win it, we become the most succesful side in the comp. And I'm keen on that!

Its just a reminder how wrong this seasons gone , we haven't just stood still we have taken a few steps back , all down to Rafa in my eyes he got it wrong in treating Alonso like a piece of meat and when he went and completley got it wrong in finding a replacement , if he thought Torres was going to be injury free all season it was a risk that has cost us another wasted season  , Aquilanni may turn out to be a decent player but he just wasn't what we needed last summer , he has tried to pull the wool over our eyes with Lucas Leiva , I have watched football for over 40 years and I can judge a decent player from an average player and that is all Lucas is and will only ever be im afraid .

Getting Champions League football has to be our priority ya I would like to win this competition but I would happily sacrifice it to finish 4th.

Wouldn't risk any players that are 50 50 or who have niggles for these games and I would defo rest players against Unirea ahead of the much bigger City match at the weeked.

I would use this competition to give experience to players like Pacheco and Kelly and giving Babel a chance in his favoured position.

If we win it, we become the most succesful side in the comp.
