      Lucas who was a destructive and marauding force today.

      Two words I would not have used to describe Lucas today. :D

      Still individual performances pale in comparison to results in games like this.  Really delighted with the scoreline but the players will know that they need to improve dramatically if they wanna get a good run of wins together.

      We looked a lot stronger with Riera and Benyoun out wide and Kuyt up front we should start like that next week if Torres is still out.

      Nice to see Javier having a solid game today, his passing was much improved too, kissed the badge after scoring his goal and looked delighted at the end.He did look happy to be in a red shirt despite the constant speculation.

      Better not F**k off to Spain now!

      Was a bad performance but it is a second win in a row and a second clean sheet in a row.

      Not so good to watch....but a win is a win. ;D
      5th place now and everything going in the right direction...onwards and upwards.
      Mash played really well,holding the mid-field-he needs to shoot more often.... ;)Don,t think Gerrard was at the "races " today....but that win will boost confidence right around the club.....Good times.... :)

      Any chance of a poll for MOTM?

      IMO it was Pepe, saved us on more than one occasion, especially with that great double save!

      Result of a Zimbabwean general election would not be more one sided.

      3 points off 3rd place.

      Yep. F***ing catacylsmic this.  ::)

      Wonder if Mark Hughes has paid the press off? Considering Rafa has spent under £2M in the last two seasons and Mark Hughes has spent over £200M who's doing the better job?

      Wasn't Gerrard's best performance for sure - just don't think he's fit yet.  But he was involved in he goals and good stuff so happy days.  Thought we were better whe Kuyt went up front and Beny/Riera came on but I guess its all about fitness of returning players

      Ref was awful today how did Fellani stay on never mind not getting booked. Thought we looked much better with Benny and Reira and Kuyt as forward, terrible first half
