      Internet Problems
      Dec 23, 2009 09:11:05 pm
Any one else having problems with the internet over the last 2 days? Laptop is working fine, and have Virus Checked multiple times, plus Malware checked and all s OK, But it is taking ages, and I mean ages to load a page, and more often or not the images do not load. I have tried IE8, but usuallly work with Firefox.
Conection is fine and the registered speed is fine too, but this is really getting anoying.

      Any one?

I think it may be the fact that the world is off and all using the internet at the same time! But come on!

Who's your ISP? Apparently some people with Virgin are having a few problems.

Thank god I'm not with them anymore.

Yep Virgin. They have been fine. See how things go. I remember there was a tread on here about them offering a premier service and the rest would have to wait for thing to down load.

My Internet has been smashing but the wireless router in my house has been playing up.

Can't connect to the WiFi through my phone, I've uninstalled the Wireless Manager and it now works with my PS3 again but my phone is still playing up with it. I'm not at home now so I'll try again later on and let you know.

I'm with Virgin too, and they're usually fine and problems in certain areas are usually highlighted when you call up their customer services, although they are usually resolved very quickly.

Theres been a lot of data lag on the Net and Wifi due to the Christmas Holiday. Once the Holidays end all the Major Retailers,CC companies, any business involved in Christmas is processing sales, banking and deposit records. Usually December 27-30th shows a huge spike in Bandwidth usage.

You should notice that after Jan 1st. your Bandwidth and Internet will go back to its previous speeds.
