Hopes for 2010 !

Not sure if this should be posted here or not, but what are every ones REALISTIC wishes and hopes for 2010.


I personally wish that we make at least 4th spot in the Prem. ( WHICH I AM SURE WE CAN)  I hope we can go one further, or mabey 3 further and win it. ( Not out of the question) And I hope we can hang onto Masch, and the rest of the squad for another season at least, coupled with a decent transfer fund from tomorrow. All injuries clear up quicker than expected and we continue with a full strength, fully fit squad for the remainder of this season and next.

Just to add tro that, here's wishing all Liverpool fans throughout the world, all players and staff at Anfield, all forum members, and all their families and friends, a Fabulous and prosperous new year.

think we can get 4th spot we are a better second half team jan-may than a first half team sept- december. a lot of teams will tire and injuries will take there toll 4th or 3rd. we still need lady luck on our side. have to play cleaner more red cards have screwed us the first half. a lot depends on if our young stars can shine like pacheo,kelly ayala,darby. as we dont have the transfer funds to splash out. i think the worst is behind us.

Happy new year guys ...........We're going to win the league....

I just want to see us play the football we were playing last season, and for Pacheco to feature more in matches.
Also I want players who perform to play in the next match, instead of being dropped to the bench again. Players like Dossena, and Babel. Generally Babels been poor I agree, but after the Lyon game where he scored that cracker he was dropped straight away. He came on against Aston Villa and played quite well, but he'll for sure be dropped to the bench again.

Hopefully to get back over to Liverpool but might have to wait till 2011 for that, unless of course I win the competition I entered to win a VIP trip to Anfield.

Liverpool to go on unbeaten 18 game Premier League run and for those presently above us to start dropping points on a more frequent basis. That's not too much to ask for is it?

My hopes are, when I will go to Anfield, on the 30th of January, that they show a good performace = ) Cause this is my first visit and I will arrive from Germany. Then seeing Liverpool winning the Uefa Cup in Hamburg would be nice ! Cause when they reach the final I will definitely be there ! And making the 4Th place in the EPL. Keeping our key players and get the financial  stuff allright.

Win the Europa League ( I'd like the final to be against Valencia aswell, Torres vs Villa how boss would that be)
A decent transfer budget
A few youngsters to break through to the first team Pacheco, Nemeth, Spearing, Kelly etc.

See the back of our American owners
See the back of Voronin, Babel and Degan
And to secure fourth place in the league
pretty sad really

My big hope for us is to finish at least 4th.

Also would like us to:
Reach the Europa league final
Get rid of the 'deadwood' and have a realistic transfer budget

Being realistic
I'd like the red wall of noise that was the Kop to return from whistle to whistle not just for brief spells of the game (away we're great but at home it's another story at the moment)
I'd like the 1st eleven to play well & with heart
I'd like the eleven who play well to be picked every game (injuries excepted)

If we could do this starting now 4th place would be a very low target, 1st or 2nd would be more like it

The least i expect this year is:
- Finish in the top 4.
- Get to the final of the Europa League.
- Get to the semi-final/final of the FA Cup.
- Manager given enough money to buy whoever he wants without having to sell first.

The Premiership

A winger that can actually dribble, run past opponents and deliver accurate crosses ( preferably David Silva )

To go unbeaten until the end of the season

To rid ourselves of our injury curse

For Rafa to become ruthless with underperforming players

Win the FA Cup and Europa League

Rid ourselves of the disease that is Gillett and Hicks

Delete The Weak - Messrs Babel, Voronin, El Zhar, Degen and Voronin

That Rafa gets enough money to buy at least one quality player ( 20 million at least )

Progression with regards to the new stadium

That the youngsters get given more chances and are given hope that there is a future with Liverpool Football Club

All the players pull together and more importantly, in the right direction

And what i feel is the most important component we have been missing this season, a midfielder with creativity and vision to push us forward, i'm hoping that in 'Il Principino' we already have that component, only time will tell.

No pressure Alberto, just do what we already know you're capable of doing, sooner rather than later please, thank you.

Sign a quality player very cheap
To get a top 4 slot and qualify for CL
For Rafa to be handed £70 mill budget for new blood
 

My hopes:

1. To give the EPL title a good go even though we're 12 points behind, with the view of winning it as well.
2. Win the FA Cup.
3. Win the Europa League.
4. Qualify at the top 4 so that we've got Champions League to look forward to in the summer.
5. Clear out the dead wood, ensure that we keep our star players including Gerrard/Torres etc.
6. Kick the F**k out of the owners out of the club.
7. For us to have proper owners Bill Shankly would be proud of.
8. Start building the new stadium.

About all for now.
