Agent: Pandev is an Inter player
Leonardo Corsi, Goran Pandev's agent, has claimed his client had signed for reigning Serie A champions Inter Milan.Pandev was a free agent after winning his legal battle against Lazio to be released from his contract.
Serie A champions Inter appeared the most likely destination for the Macedonia striker and his representative claims a deal has been agreed.
Corsi told
www.tuttomercatoweb.it: "Pandev has just signed.
"Goran is clearly very happy. The contract will be sent to the league in the coming hours."
Lazio were ordered to release Pandev from his contract by the Lega Calcio just before Christmas.
He had been at Lazio since 2004 and quickly became a fans' favourite at the Stadio Olimpico.
However, matters turned sour last summer when Lazio revealed they would not accept a bid of less than 19million euros for Pandev after he filed a transfer request.
The 26-year-old was branded a "rebel" by club president Claudio Lotito and frozen out of the squad, as well as being forced to train separately from his former team-mates.
Pandev was under contract with Inter for three years earlier in his career but was shipped out on loan twice and never played a senior game for the Nerazzurri.
