Dont think so. I had both the required matches for the scum, and when I got online to buy tickets about 10 mins after they went on sale there was only a few blocks of the ground available. Something funny went on with the ticket allocation for that one...but they sold out in a few hours.

Ah well. Im sure some prawn sandwich will get our tickets instead.

The Manure one took ages to sell out didn't it?

I remember because you needed Stoke, Villa and Hull and I didn't have Hull but in the end it went down to just two of the three eventually

If sure in the exchange this will go down to either one or the other, hope it does anyway because I have Wigan but not Man City

This was too easy to get tickets.  what's going on???  all those people who complain that it's impossible to get tickets.  i phoned up and was through immediately.  it's been like that alot this season.  These must be the same supporters who only think about trying to get a ticket if the team is playing well. :f_steam:

I don't think people complain it is 'impossible' to get tickets.  If you have the credits, as you clearly have, then the process has been simplified hugely.  I've been to 6 home games and 1 away game this season and do not even have the opportunity to be able to ring for tickets today.

They should have let fans who bothered to turn up for the Reading game get first shout on this.

People have complained on this forum about how they cannot get tickets. Yes, it was harder last year and the year before, but it was a case of keep trying.   i only started going back to Anfield 3 years ago after a long absence, due to very young family, and severe financial restrictions.  I had no match attendance record, but bought a fancard and hit the annoying phone lines or website.  some of my mates were always complaining that they could not get tickets, but they never bothered to get a fancard and now a membership. The membership this year has made it much easier.  i have a mate who complained about the 29 quid fee so wouldn't buy one. trying to get through on the phones in the general sale can cost you that much just for one match!

I wasn't 'patronising' you.  I was telling you that you were bang out of order having a swipe at local fans. Totally unacceptable.

Wish I had a days holiday left for this. Gutted. Never been to a Merseyside derby. Next season hopefully.

The fans that went to the Reading game should get a free ticket

Absolutly made up about the result today and I no I was so lucky to be there today, however I was sat in the main stand block mw with a normal ticket.I got to my seat and one of the posts was directly in front of me and I couldn't see the anny road goal. I was pissed off and couldn't believe they sell that as a normal seat and not a restricted view. To top it off I had some foreigner tap me on the shoulder pointing the kop and he said "is that the kop that's quite famous isn't it" I didn't even answer the tw*t. How do idiots get these tickets over true fans really deserve them?
