      F**k.

Luck just isn't on our side at the moment, how did that not go in.

Only saw the second half but definitely a better all round performance from the players today.

yea better than sh*t. Doesn't mean good.

Well I personally see this as a positive game, one of our better ones this season. Ok quality itself was very scarce, but plenty of fight and passion, especially from Kyriagkos, seemed to clear everything that came his way today. I think it might be an important point, but f**k if only Kuyt had finished that header :( and of course we should have had a penalty early on, Mason is a w**ker of a ref! So picky on the little things, and ignores the major moments in games!

Looking at other results though, Spurs drawing with Hull at White Hart Lane, and City losing at the bitters. Chelsea won 7-2 as well against Sunderland, though they are probably out of the race, still stops the mancs from the top.

F**k me according to my calculations this is the 14th time we have lead in a game and ended u drawing or losing. 7 times we conceded the crucial goal post 90 minutes shows the F***ing ugly dirty bad luck we faced thus far. Onwards and upwards here towards the mighty spurs and citeh....one by one Rafa will F**k them all over ;)

Stoke are a tough nut at home. Were void of any confidence. Missing 4 of our best players and denied a stone wall peno. My only dissapointmrnt from today was Kuyts header at the end

See as with Reading, we are so close to toasting a workmanlike victory, and everyone would have been happy, now because of a posts width people calling yet again for Rafa to be sacked, that is far to fickle, it is not the fault of Rafa that Kuyt hit the post.

I am disappointed with the result and once again I am more disappointed with the standard of football we are playing. When are our defenders going to learn to cover the posts when the opposition are taking corners, every time there is only Reina on his line and the backs are nowhere to be seen.

We were running quite fine last season mate, injuries have crippled us this season.

      Being sensible tells you that.

The line up did shock me to be honest... but I think the greek guy was superb whilst skrtel just got better.. we need a left back... both of our left backs were really poor today... althou aurelio provided a good free kick which lead us to the goal...

lucas was immense today, shame about the pen incident.. ref should have got a yellow instead for making that decision!!

      ngog wasnt at the races...

but postive news is we have cut the gap to points for 4th spot with city and spurs messing up...

it was a good overall team peformance...

      thanks2shanks

We never put anyone on both sides on the post. If we had we would not have conceeded. Sh*t defending tactics. We never learn.
Spot on. Not defending both posts at corner-kicks is crazy and costly. For someone who often talks about "little details", Rafa has a blind spot about this.

The height factor really comes into play this season?

Insia, Aurelio, Lucas, Masch, Benny, Aquilani-> we have considerably gotten shorter and shorter, physically.

Does anyone here have any stats regarding the average height compared to other teams & also previous seasons?

Not suggesting that height is the main/key reason but trying to analyze what went wrong with this team(other than injuries, luck, bad refereeing etc).

And the cross to Kuyt as well, which would have won him MOTM if it were converted for two assists IMO

Chin up kid - Stoke are nobodies pushover at home if we hadn't been so close to victory and had it snatched away in the dying minutes the draw would have seemed fair enough.

      What go's around comes around.

      Come on you Mighty Reds.

p.s,  so this is what it feels like to be average, I don't like it.

We're playing sh*te, worst form of football in 5 years at the moment yet we're currently 7th on the league table.... and when we turn this around(because I don't think it'll be like this though out the season), things will slowly pick up. There's plenty of matches to be won... 17 matches  to be exact.

Even the match vs. Spurs is not a make or break, but if we win, we gonna be level with them point-wise.

I'm still optimistic and positive that we gonna finish 4th this season.

We will be 1 point off Spurs, and Villa if they win tomorrow... However I beleive we can finish 4th if we start playing well... Every season in the last 5 we have had a good run after christmas, i cant see why we wont this year

Gained a point on City after this performance.

Not the end of the world as some are making it out to be.
