I'd have had Parker when he was good before Chavski got their mitts on him but not now.

Get a back up for Torres you silly arses.

We need proper strikers, full backs and wingers, not center mids.

Agree on strikers and wingers, think our full backs are decent.

Really? For me only Johnson and Aurelio cut it, and they're still making a few basic mistakes. Kelly seems to be a bright prospect though.

as someone posted previously it would worry me that Parker could be being lined up as a Masch replacement. Sell Lucas instead and then buy Parker.

Why sell Lucas when he's better than Parker?

It's like 7-King Kenny-7 said here http://www.lfcreds.com/reds/index.php?topic=24191.500 the only sin Lucas is guilty of is not being xabi or Masch when IMO on the basis on yesterday's game against Wigan Lucas can pass a ball better than Masch.

No thankyou, we'll keep Lucas and leave Parker where he is.

:D Lucas shits over Parker in our system. And given a year or two, he'll be able to do everything much better than Parker can right now.

I'd take Parker all day long.

Not saying that we should sign him because there are other positions that should be more of a priority, but if we did, i'd have no complaints.

Experienced premiership footballer, a good one at that, he'd do a job for us. He works hard, always gives 100% and hes solid, a hard man on the pitch. Hes also scored a few beautys in his time as well. Hes experienced as a captain, at west ham and at charlton, therefore hes seen as a leader by managers hes worked with.

It wouldn't be a bad buy at all IMO. Id prefer Parker over Lucas any day.

And to be honest, IMO, Rafa should have signed somebody like Parker instead of Aquilani, simply because he isn't fit.

I'd take Parker as well, he is a good player. As long as he is not being bought to replace Masch but to partner him I could handle him being signed. He was easily the best player on the pitch yesterday against Chelsea.

      So was Aquilani.

I really doubt it, but you never know.

      And Degen.
      Damn.
Although Rafa did say he's not buying anymore injury prone players.
Cause in fairness he has enough already.
Was hoping to watch Parker at the weekend against the arse

Parker would be a cracking acquisition at 6 mil. We have 4 CM's as Gerrard is now an attacker...? He would bring some good quality Prem' experience to the squad, i wouldn't grumble and if in the event Masch did leave atleast we have a more cover to soften the blow!

Saying that i'd bet all the grit in the UK on him not signing for us, media puff imo.

Really don't need him, with Maxi linking up with the rest of the lads, we'll be creating goals out of our asses.

Very decent premiership footballer but yet again another uninspiring name linked to the club!

Nothing wrong with having another quality midfielder at the club, who is reaching his peak.

      Nothing more on Parker then?

Shame, would've really liked to see him at Liverpool, I think he's a great player.

Fan of parker but hes never worth 15mil

more around 6-8mil and that would be a very good signing
