Same team as Wed for me. The only change would be Maxi for Degen however think Rafa will stick with the same side.

I see its not on the Tv, anyone have any idea how we could watch it?

I'd stick with the same team that started against Spurs but maybe swap Degen with Maxi. Sotiris should be given another starting role because has been on the verge of MoM in last 2 games.

Looking forward to this one and hope that we turn them over big time.

They will be without Stearman won't they? Their most impressive defender this season, time to attack them IMO.

Is this on Sky or ESPN or am I gonna have to get browsing? :P

They have a case of being prone to pace so i would love to see Pacheco/Babel/Ngog playing (yes, Babel).

I think with Dirk, Yossi and Alberto in the side they can really profit from player pulling defenders out with their pace.

                          Reina

      Carragher  Skrtel   Sotis   Insua

                    Masch   Aquilani

         Yossi         Pacheco        Babel

                           Kuyt

      And Ngog off the bench.

But it will be Pacheco on the bench and an unchanged line up from Spurs - which i dont have any problems with as each man deserved his spot that day. So Degen on the right, Lucas in and Aquilani pushed up.

It'll be a big ask but i hope we can spank them. If we get a really good win here with positive and quality football then i would be very happy as a performance, as well as 3 points, will really build confidence.

The only reason we won in the first match against them was because they got a red card and only then they broke under the pressure. This is far from easy IMO.

Gerrard said himself he was hoping to be back for the Wolves game, personally with all the niggles he's been having I'd only consider him from the bench, we should have enough in our locker to take 3 points from Wolves with out risking further injuries to Gerrard.

I'd keep Gerrard out of the team until February. It's a huge month for us and getting him 100% for then will be integral to some successful results.

Even then, if the same XI show the same grit and passion we'll smash Wolves on Tuesday. Only change I could see would be maybe Maxi coming in somewhere.

4-0 to the Reds I think.

Yeah i think you might have a point. Bench would be good for him as of now. Feb is really a big, big month for us. Could make or break our season. We shouldn't be rushing our stars. Another big injury now would be a big blow.

Wouldn't mind Stevie starting on the bench myself, wanna see Aquilani have another crack at playing in just behind the striker.  Maybe he could make the position his own.

He has a long way to go before that. :D
Even I'd like to see him play just behind the striker, as in Tottenham game.

I agree. Aquilani put in a decent 1st half performance v spurs and theirs no point in rushing stevie back into action if he isn't needed.

Agree 100% Chats. We should be able to take care of Wolves and Bolton without Gerrard and save him for the blue sh*te match on the 6th Feb.
