Angry mob trap Tom Hicks

just saw this in todays paper (star), though it was funny

tom hicks was trapped in anfield for 2 hours after yesterdays game as 300 angry fans protested with non stop chants of "yanks out out out"

The hated American was kept inside the ground for his own safety as police moved in to keep the mob away from the doors of the main entrance,
Hicks was holed up in the directors lounge high above the crowd , but heard every chant of abuse.
Security Cheifs couldn't even smuggle hicks out of any other exit as the fans covered every escape route, It is thoughts hicks had flown into merseyside for major talks this week on future investment in the debt ravaged club.

Yes there was a protest, and I was one of them but have to laugh at the reporting....not like the star to blow things out of proportion.

Sorry to say I don't agree with this kind of headline-making stuff. We create headlines for the newspapers to go at us.
What we really need now is to be focussed on our task ahead, to get into Top 4 or Top 3, both fans and the team alike.

It should be though, get those who are still burying their hands into the F***ing sand and even the day-trippers onside.

This has made my day it was in nearly all the papers today, Hicks is starting to realise it is going to get tougher and tougher for him or his clown of a partner to turn up at Anfield.

The lads that did that protest yesterday deserve a massive well done. He knows now his spin is no longer going to fool the fans we have seen through you. The only thing left for you up and take your couple of million profit.

It did'nt look like he had all the Hicks clan with him this time , maybe they have got the message their time is up , hopefully they can Talk him into selling up , reading reports today sugests they have lowered the asking price opening the door to new owners , LIGHT at the end of the tunnel seems to be getting BRIGHTER thank god.
