From tribal football so it's probably BS but who knows?
I've always thought of him as a decent player but for 2.5 million the yanks will no doubt ensure it happens.

Saw this somewhere else as well thought he was a good prospect would prefer to keep him to be honest.

I would sell him personally, sad, but adds to our immediate funds to perhaps buy another striker before January window slams shut. Getting towards that time, 9 days left, hope we get another couple of players in.

If true..lets be honest here sell him. He aint gonna play with Carra Agger Skrtel and Sotis ahead of him and Ayala!! 2.5 could be used on getting someone in

He impressed me during his time in the reserves. Be a shame to see him leave permanently but for £2.5million, if it contributes to a new striker, I'd let him go.

Am I correct in saying this was an agreed fee when we loaned him? Or am I thinking of the wrong club.

To be honest I'd take 250k for him. He played for us in pre season and was totally woeful. Can't see that he would have any sort of future with us to be honest.

2.5 million in the striker kitty....done!! It's too big a mountain for him to climb to get into our 1st team so we might aswell cash in.
