Both sides in fairly good form but..
we all know form counts for nothing in these games.
I trust Rafa will outwit moyesy again.

Well the REDMEN won't need to get themselves psyched up for this game, just playing the bitters is enough to get the old heart beating faster than normal, pride of Merseyside and all that, I was at Goodison for the first 'derby' game and have first hand experience of just how bitter the evertonians really are.

Obviously we are favourites being at home although form goes out the window for games like this and it really doesn't matter where you are in the table, these games are different.

It will be a tight game on Merseyside but I'll take Liverpool to win by 2 goals to 1.

I would like to see Lucas to play in this one, it will suit him..

Id like to see Lucas, Masch, Gerrard and Aquliani to all play...

But it would mean the usual 2 as holding and Aquliani in the hole whilst Stevie on the width...  Cant see Rafa opting this....

So I feel Aquliani will be on the bench...

Same back 4... Lucas and Masch in the middle, Gerrard behind Kuyt... Reira left... and Maybe Maxi on the right..

Kuyt has a good record against the blues so play him upfront.

Just to answer your question- I believe Torres should be back end of feb to mid-march- should all go well with the recovery from his knee op!

Got the tw*t of a steward at the top whoose about to throw the liverpudlian out..
then stood to the right of him you have a kebab shop owner.
stood to the right of him you have a world champion chess player.
Infront of the kebab man you have a man whoose head is full of semen.
Infront of him you have his fat whale of a woman, who to be fair to, looks like shes going the gym after the game, well done only another 30 stone or so left to go...
Stood to the right of her are her husband and son who have just robbed a petrol station.
To the right of them you have a gormless lad who is on the verge of falling over.
Infront of the petrol station robber you have a kid who is missing eyes.
then bottom right you have lurch and to the left of him you have the geek version of johnny bravo.

we'll batter this lot on saturday have a really good feeling about this one

      3-0 :action-smiley-055: :kop5cf8koxp6:

      I think we'll start

                         Kuyt
      Riera        Gerrard         Maxi
             Mascherano Lucas
      Insua Kyrgiakos Skrtel Carra
                       Reina

Wouldn't mind starting with Ngog, but I don't think we willl. Not in the derby.

Can we get a mod on this idiot. Im Welsh and I take great offence.

Good lad. Agree with team, would be concerned with Pienaar and Baines ganging up on Carra though.

If they continued to play with the form they had in the second half against Bolton, I reckon 3-0 or 4-0 wouldn't be out of the question. I hope the Stevie that played last Saturday shows up because he looked a man possessed.

              Reina
      Carra Sotis Skrtel Insua
               Masch
      Maxi              Riera
               Gerrard
            Aquilani
                 Kuyt

I like the looks of that.

F***ing can't wait for this, on TV here im 99% sure, so ill be up early with some brews and getting stuck in!

      I reckon we'll see this:

                N'Gog/Kuyt
              Gerrard
      Riera Masch Lucas Kuyt/Maxi
      Insua Sotis Carra Kelly
                 Reina

Think Kuyt might be used to help out Carra in this area. Only change I think we'll see is Aquilani out for Lucas although its not the team I'd put out.
Would like to see Maxi start on the left rather than Reira and give Ngog another chance to make amends in the derby for his misses last time out
