Words or phrases that annoy the hell out of you (or make your cringe)

Seems like an obvious thread that every good forum should have really 

I'll start it off:

I can't stand it when people say either "preggers" or "prego" 

absolutely does my head in.

I feel the same way about the word 'mint' as in 'good'.

Here's 2 very annoying words........'Hicks' and 'Gillette'

Also, i can't stand when boys describe girls on their facebook pictures as "tidy" or "lush" !!! arghhhhh   

Lads typing the word hehehehe does my nut in!! so gay/camp/annoying.

Excessive use of or lulz.

When a girl or lad describes someone as 'hot.'

And when someone Scouse says the word bloke. Oh, my, word. Sort it out. Just doesn't sound right.

I reckon it's the accent thing that makes it okay for us.

Imagine someone without a Scouse accent saying 'That's boss that.' Just doesn't sound the same.

Makes me cringe when people shorten down programme names. Like the Jungle. Or Celeb BB. Or Millionaire. Makes me want to punch them.

Naughty - seems to be getting overused far too much nowadays.

Meff - what a sh*t insult.

Behave yourself - gets right on me nerves that.

Gaff - as in house, no it's not a gaff it's an 'ouse. (only really annoys me when Scousers say it)

Have to agree with all of them.

Naughty was definitely played out too much.

And you can leave meff for a much simpler bout of 'you f*cking scruff.' Sounds well better.

Exactly mate, "ya f***in' scruffy c**t" is much better than "meff"
