Sorry to hear that Gow, maybe u should start early doing the roundabouts as you would still have to go round it again anyway. As the saying goes practice makes perfect. Yup, someone has mentioned earlier, beware of the killer slope as it may the the one giving u the U-turn the next time and not the roundabout. "RELAX", yes I like the word, just go through the process as if the instructor is your girlfriend, that'll do the job. Put in a few extra hours of practice for a day or two before test day, proven succesful many times over, so that you'd still be shifting gears in your sleep and well prepared for the test day. All the best and take it easy.

Unlucky Gow. I failed my first test actually.

Apparently I was too far to the right of a single car lane coming out of the test centre in Norris Green. : After that it was basically downhill. One key point was coming out of a road facing the garage by The Sandon. I stalled 3 times because a big lorry was behind me and I didn't realise I was in 3rd gear. After that it was nailed on that I'd failed. So I was dropping gears to overtake on Walton Hall Avenue, just having a laugh with it.

I wouldn't worry at all mate. All the best drivers pass second time around.

Booked my 2nd test today.

Think I'll keep the date to myself this time though!

Don't worry, many others have as well. Just nobody admits it.

My test is Tuesday- wish me luck!!!!! Believe me, I need all the luck I can bloody get.
