What the hell?! Barca started slowly and played the whole game slowly meaning Inter always had time to re-group. Also what has different teams got to do it with it when the fact is Barca should have looked to up the tempo, especially with the amount of pace and ability they have.

Bayern ace fails with appeal to CAS against suspension

Bayern Munich winger Franck Ribery will miss the UEFA Champions League final after an appeal against his three-game ban was rejected.

Ribery was shown a straight red card in the first leg of their semi-final victory over Lyon for a late and high challenge on Lisandro Lopez.

He was handed a three-game ban by Uefa and saw an initial bid to have the ban reduced rejected by European football's governing body earlier this month.

The France international then decided to take his case to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, but they too have rejected his pleas.

Ribery will now not feature in Saturday's showdown with Inter Milan at Real Madrid's Santiago Bernabeu stadium.

A CAS statement read: "The Court of Arbitration for Sport has rendered its final decision in the appeal filed by FC Bayern Munich and Franck Ribery against the decision taken by the UEFA Appeals Body on May 5, 2010.

"This expedited procedure was referred to a CAS Panel composed of Mr Bernhard Welten (Switzerland) President, Dr Stephan Netzle (Switzerland) and Dr Andras Gurovits (Switzerland).

"A hearing was held at the CAS headquarters today, during which the parties and their legal representatives were heard.

"The CAS Panel has dismissed the appeal and confirmed the three-game suspension imposed by the UEFA appeals body on the Bayern Munich player Franck Ribery.

"Accordingly, the player will not be eligible to play in the final of the 2010 Champions League.

"The reasons for the decision will be published by the CAS in a few days."

I think im definatly going to have to put a fiver or something on Inter, with their form and the tactics of Mourinho its hard to see past them.

And with the attack threat of Ribery gone its only backing up my expectations, kind of want Bayern to win it but I just cant see it.

Realised today it's on a Saturday. Not the Same, I mean, Britain Got Talent is moved! the women will not be happy!

Can't believe Bayern were appealing Ribery's sending off, he was was lucky to not get a longer ban, could have snapped the guys ankle a treat.
