Deserves that round of applause Diego Milito. Best striker in the tournament this year. Quality player.

Overall it was a decent match, not the most exciting one as Inter really know how to neutralize their opponents. Milito was the star of the show.

      Works though!

People rave on this beautiful football sh*te but if we won every single match 1-0, winning the league consistently and a shitload of cups along the way, I wouldn't want to change it for the world.

Inter are the masters at it and they have been solid throughout. Even though Bayern looked to be having a go.

I know! And I agree. Inter won the league, won the cup, won the European Cup. Winning trophies is entertainment.

By the way, Milito scored the decisive goals in all these trophies. What a great season he had.

The captain Zanetti will lift the UCL trophy in his 700th game as a Internazionale player.

Milito, Lucio, Sneijder and Cesar in goal have been inspirational for them throughout this tournament.

Found that match pretty boring. Inter were doing their usual sort of play, nothing great and Bayern were just looking for Robben the whole time (who i don't think used his right foot so much as once!)

Better than some finals I've seen, but nothing spectacular. Well done to Inter, they showed that if you have a well oiled machine working from the bottom up, you can win it all. sh*te defending on Bayerns side though, F**k me that second, Van Buyton looked like a F***ing school boy.

Must say - Cambiasso. How the F**k Maradona overlooked him is beyond me.

Bayern way to reliant on Robben. Deffo missed Ribery out there they did.

Yeah its great to see Lucio (is Drogba still on his pocket?) and Julio Cesar in such good form prior to the WC. Maicon was great too.

I really cant wait to see Julio Cesar with the trophy, he is my greatest idol in football and deserves every success

Sneijder is a brilliant player, does what Deco used to do for Porto under Mourinho. Amazig football brain, so much creativity.

I was looking at his career stats and it's scary, he's 36 years old but plays over 50 matches every season. Great player

Being that im too lazy to look it up right now, anyone know if any other player has won the CL two years in a row with two different teams like Eto'o has?

He has 3 medals now from the last 5 years. Quite extraordinary.

3 Champions League medals is fantastic. But how many more is he going to win? Look at the youngsters at Barca though such as Messi, 2 already and sure they will get a fair few more.

Bayern's game plan sucked big time.

They had a lot of width and good players to use the width but didn't even see one cross into the box. Everyone was trying to cut in time and again. That made inter's full backs' work easier, especially Chivu's. And I thought bringing on Klose would change it but it was the same thing.
      Inter deserved the game.

I think that Di Stefano won the european cup(now champions league) 5 times in a row(along with a bunch of his fellow teammates). Cruyff and Beckenbauer won it 3 times in a row I think. All at the same club. Then there's Seedorf who won 4 champions leagues with 3 different clubs and Maldini won 5 with Milan, both not in a row. Ofcourse our Phil Neal won 4 champions leagues too.

      edit:

Francisco Gento won 6 champions leagues with Real Madrid, from which 5 in a row!
