Why we did not start with Aurellio on the left wing I don't know, he had a class game against that Romanian outfit mid-week.  Will be interesting to see how Babel plays up front as a lone striker once more too!

Wright Phillips having a go at Insua worries the F**k out of me. The rest doesn't scare me in the least. There are going to be goals to be had against their back 4.

Need to keep a close eye on Adam Johnson and Adebayor. Both playing really well at the moment.

Looks like the rumours about Torres were right.. I hope we can kill the game  earilier so we dont need to use him.. You know what city will be like against him.. Think Babel and Maxi will switch wings at times with Kuyt up front... saying that, it would be interesting if Kuyt plays onr igth with Babel upfront..!!

Given that their keeper has been some what of our nemisis in the past (and I base that on shots saved rather than goals scored) I think they will be well up for it!

Well, Babel has another chance to show what he can do, hope the 'impact sub' can do it for us from the start of this one. We need some big performances. I expect SG to show up today - he's been in better form in the last few games - a big game player and this really is a big one - so c'mon Stevie boy, let's put these guys back in their box. Good to see Torres on the bench too.
Heard on the radio some paper carried the '£160 million for SG and Torres' story with pictures of them and their heads photoshoped onto bodies of Man City players. Some serious mind games from City - but would imagine this should only fire up our lads more.
All is not well at City either, what with stories of bustups with Mancini, plus Tevez is out which is great news. So even though they have a very good home record, these little things can work in our favour if we put them under pressure.
