Classical Music - Discovering The Meaning

I don't mind certain pieces now and then.

Thing is though - I try to think what they could be about and I struggle.

      For example:

      Bach - Air on a G String

Beautiful piece of music. However, I don't know whether to feel sad or happy and I just think it would be interesting to see what different people make of it/think it's about?

Love? War? Peace? A certain emotion? Or is it not really supposed to be about anything?

Same goes for any lyric-less music like this. Would just like to hear different people's views.

Give it a listen and say what you feel!

I'm the same mate that piece is a bit too dentist waiting room stuff. I like that stuff when I'm pissed it takes on a different meaning I know sh*t about it but Stravinsky always sounds good when the mood takes you-give that a go.
