Jees, takes me back, thanks for that mate. Good times

No worries fella. Literally gave me goosebumps mate. Even though there's no sound, you can just hear the crowd can't you!

Coming out of the Kop was like going over the edge of the world, because you couldn't see the stairs because of the crowd. How people weren't badly injured still amazes me. Great days though. At least nowadays my shoes aren't rotted.

When I was a lad it was £1 to stand, usually went in the Annie Road with my Milk Create to stand on!, Yes you could do that. The few time I ventured into the Kop I had my favorate spot. What I Loved and sent shivers down my spine was paying your quid, and walking up those stairs and just as to reached and crossed the summit of those stairs the BRIGHT GREEN PITCH would always send shivers down my spine, the hallowed turf.

Loved the Vid, and the others...good find.

The most noticeable thing about that film that nobody has mentioned is the lack of chippies and especially fast food outlets. Take a look at the film again and see if you can spot anyone who is overweight. I think I spotted Molby on the way out. People walked, or ran a lot, in those days. Too many fat lazy gonks knocking round now.

For those who were wondering about the sound, there isn't any. It says it's muted.

As Kenny has already pointed out, the sound is muted.

Brilliant that. I used to travel from near Bath to most home games in those days with a load of mates. Used to hire a van and travell up on a friday night. Do a pub crawl and kip in the van in the Anfield car park. Have Saturday morn in town, then in the Albert. Go to match and then go to the Pier Head and get a wash and brush up for 2 1/2 p. Put on the glad rags and hit the town. 'The She Club' was the place in those days. Pissed up, sleep in the van Sat night and coast home Sunday. What memories that brings back. Seems such a long way off now. Terrific.

Last match for me, then, was '71 when I went down to the smoke.
For 5 years before, it was every other Saturday.

I now know it was MsGerrard who used to elbow me out of me spec.

Was always there behind the Kop and in front of a barrier by 1.30 on matchday. No elf and safety then.
Ciggies in your breast pocket of your shirt. Couldnt get at them otherwise. There was the bonfires on the Kop and dont talk about the loos! We managed ;D
If there was a mini skirted dolly who took her seat in the stand to the right of us she had an immediate Kop appreciation society.
      Scary f***ing steps.
      That pitch Red Puppy. Technicolour.
Back up to Shiel Road for the 510.

      Im ranting.

Wheres me tank top? I left it here somewhere.Oh Yeh. On me zimmer.

Great memories there , used to be terrified at full time going down those stairs in case i lost my footing. Well i was only a nipper then, still i could shed a tear when i remember back and then come back to the reality of today.

So it was you blowing smoke in my face back then  :lmao:

We thought nothing of getting in the ground about half one then did we? Singing all the songs that made the Kopites so famous the world over, I remember when the players came out on the pitch, we had songs for all of them, and they all got sung and the kop always cheered when the player acknowledged us  ;D

Loved them days so much, I feel privileged to have witnessed some great moments on the kop.
