This is what frustrates me the most the fact that we are playing boring football and still not getting results.

Martinez won the battle of the managers tonight, luckily for him all his players turned up.

I missed the game due to a birthday (which was nice thanks) so will have to watch it again later.

That was a f*cking shambles that. We played as if we've never played together before. The passing was woeful. Just about everyone had the first touch of a mugger. All this against a team with no wins in 9.

It's quite difficult to single out the shittest of our players but Gerrard and Kuyt need f*cking shooting. Kuyt gave away nearly every single f*cking pass. Gerrard played like a man with his mind elsewhere. He showed no leadership and needed to give everyone a boost because, bar a spell of about 5 minutes after they scored, there was no urgency, whatsoever.

Take nothing away from Wigan. They passed like a team fighting for the title. Props to them. They deserved the win and deserve all the credit in the world because they worked for the result, even though we didn't exactly help ourselves.

Amidst all of this sh*te, I've got to say Aquilani looked really positive coming on. The only player who didn't constantly give the ball away. Showed some sublime passes. Shame no tw*t could do anything with his creativeness.

Exactly, the team that was put was a very strong side. But their attitude stank and became so frustrated easily. How do you fix that?

Aquilani looked good but he should not be a partner for Masch. He should be in the hole and Gerrard should play deeper.

Spurs are attack minded while we are safety minded with those quality players on the pitch. When there's a big hole in front of them to exploit they prefer the side and back passes.

He picks the team and sets them out but at the end of the day, it's the players who play the game. We can't blame the manager or owners if a Liverpool player fails to pass a simple ball to another from 10 yards unless Rafa is using his Harry Potter magic to disturb their feet.

only one person to blame the manager, im sorry and i know ill probably get jumped for this comment but if the players are not motivated or are showing no spirit its down to the manager to fire them up at half time and he failed to do that. the second half was as bad as the first.if a couple players are not performing then it is the player but when it is the team there is a serious problem that falls on the managers shoulders and what is he going to say in the post match interview "we controlled the game and missed chances."we didnt control the game and wigan missed chances too and the most worrying thing of all is wigan deserved the win 2nite.
