My lad e-mailed me saying to check out on Google where we used to live last year and there I am outside of our house having a ciggy - fame at last.

I'm loving this thing for doing my house hunting with. It's boss. Lets me walk down the street and have a nosey at all the neighbours of the house for sale's houses, and then all the surrounding streets etc.

When did ya live there BR? Monterey is beautiful isn't it though! I absolutely loved it, and brilliant Clam Chowder on that pier with all the restaurants

Weird. I just remembered you asking me this and me not answering. I lived there in 2000-01. Monterey was beautiful, but it never warmed up! Yeah, the clam chowder and just the seafood, in general, were unbelievable. You're thinking of Fisherman's Wharf .

I wouldn't be surprised if you read "Cannery Row" while you're studying here. It's about Monterey (amongst other things obviously ).

Yeah, I know it does, I love Amsterdam, the old city center that is, it's awesome. Wish my whole country is like that. It's really the only place I want to live in my country, this city gives me alot of energy.

The sea food around Cape Cod is good Eric there's a few good restaurants close to the harbour.Spent a week there last time we were over - beautiful place.

Lots of good seafood on City Island , Bronx, too. This is my fav "Sea-Shore", but feel free to "walk" up and down the Ave. Got a nice New England feel.
