How does Rafa justify sticking with Insua?

Aurelio is out no other recognised left back. Could at a push throw Carra there but he needs dropping as well.

No surprise that Kuyt isn't in. He has looked shattered over the past few weeks. It is good to see Maxi and Aquilani in. Thats more like it Rafa. Come on Liverpool!

I would've played aurellio and kuyt over maxi, and stuck stevie on the bench for a couple of games - he needs a performance tonight, for himself more than us.

What ever the formation is rafa did 3 things right, these are that he played Aqua, Maxi & Babel..

Something like that i reckon.

I see no less than seven very attack-minded players in that line-up.

This HAS to be a win. I will not accept a draw, and a defeat will put me in despair.

If we don't win tonight, we never will on a Monday night ever!

Guessing Aquilani & Mascherano central, Gerrard in front, Maxi right and Babel left.

Or the same with Aquilani & Gerrard swapping positions.

Can't see that Babel will start up front with Torres but you never know.

With this lineup, we can see that Liverpool is still in Rafa's best interest. Hopefully Gerrard is playing in the middle. I have a good feeling about this match! Babel I feel proud for him, Rafa is repaying him and sticking by his word, just bring it, all eyes will be on you as usual.

I wonder what the formation would be? I would like to see.

I hope Aquilani fills the hole and Gerrard is Masch's partner... but I don't see that.

Aurellio is injured last time i checked, Only option is maybe Agger in left back.

I'd like to think that line-up will be more than able to hand out a jolly good thrashing, what eh old chap. Eight - nil.

As far as I'm aware, Pacheco is still away on international duty.

No wonder Rafa is reluctant to make him an integral part of the team, he's never bloody here!

I'd rather see Aquilani in front of Gerrard.
