If neither of us are getting our new stadiums, then renovation of our current digs (or dive in their case
) is an option I would be more than happy for both clubs to explore.
I don't think many Kopites would turn their nose up at boosting the capacity at Anfield and making it a little more modern. New Main Stand, new Anfield Road end. Even bigger Kop maybe!
I'd like to know what the maximum we could realistically squeeze out of it.
And the idea of sorting out the areas around the two grounds is one which should come into play whichever way it goes. Walton (where I live) and Anfield are both in need of a revamp. Two seperate grounds, new or old, or one new shared one.
