Liverpool fan to sue Uefa

It will be very interesting to see the outcome of this case, as it will set a precedent for others.

At the end of the day, regardless of ticketless fans getting in etc, Uefa should've had the situation under control to start with to avoid fans with real tickets getting locked out. I hope he wins & it opens the floodgates for everyone else to sue.

I too hope they win, but I suspect they will not, as I am sure there will be small print stating that UEFA, (or who else) reserve the right to refuse entry! as does every ticket I have bought.

If it's a fair trial, then he has a great chance. We all know the errors of UEFA and their ridiculous strategy regarding the final. And worst of all, heaping the ALL the blame on Liverpool fans.
But the bold truth roles down to UEFA getting off lucky, where nobody was seriously injured or killed. And for that, they have to pay!! If it's fair, then they will.
Good luck to the man, I've got my fingers crossed he wins. Not only for the fact it would open up for others to stake their claim, but also and more importantly, that UEFA learn from their mistakes and make better all round arrangments for the safety of others and the well being of genuine fans in future events!

I really hope he will win too, it's the responsability of the UEFA to watch of the safety of the fans who travel, Liverpool Fc can only do so much and they did send report and worries to the UEFA, they cannot blame the club to fail to control the crowd when it was clearly the choice of the stadium who was at fault. good luck.

Too F***ing right, booked flights, booked hotel, BOUGHT TICKET! And refused at the gates. That is absolutely bloody scandalous!

UEFA are going to find a loophole, because they know if he wins this case,
hundreds will follow and they'll be paying out a lot of money.
