Why choose EFC before LFC?

I cannot believe its because they have a better chance playing there than they do here, our youth set up was left to stagnate, we had one player through who made it to the first team in Warnock, he has been the only one since Gerrard and Carra who was good enough for our first team, if he had stayed their is no question he would be in the squad today. Now Rafa has been able to get who he wants and he trusts in charge of youth development things are slowly getting better, watching Academy players this year has been much better, although the results have not told the story at all, the one thing we can be sure of it wont be for want of trying to get the kids into the first team, it takes luck and hard work and now everything is in place, we await.

Its more a case that liverpool are and have been far far far far far far more successful than everton, thus have had to play more experienced better players at a higher level to succeed, if our only goal was a mid-table finish every season then the likes of kelly, darby, spearing would flourish. As it is we're a much better club than everton and therefore since the days of houllier we've had to relegate our talent to the reserves, where as everton have no choice but to play them. Simple.

Give it a year or two and you ll see how strong the lfc youth system is. Besides its easier for young players to come through when you rely on them as a source of income
