For anyone who is interested there are a few episodes of Metal Mickey available to watch on ITV.com - on their web player thing  Used to be one of my favourites.

Liked the Gerry Anderson stuff when I was a kid. First of all it was Thunderbirds, then UFO.
I used to get up earlier on a Saturday to watch TV than during the week to go to school - and see the old black and white shows like Champion The Wonder Horse and Buck Rogers or Flash Gordon, featuring Larry "Buster" Crabbe, before Swap Shop started.
      Anyone remember Elephant Boy? ???
I was in the studio audience once for Runaround, hosted by the late Mike "Paaaaaat!" Reid, which I also watched. I knew the boy who won it that time. He grew up to get done for living off immoral earnings. ::)
The special TV moments were when you could stay up with "the adults". For me, the old man would happily let me watch Parkinson, especially when The Big Yin, or Mohammed Ali was on it.

Anyone remember this on a Saturday morning in the 80's? Used to love it. It's worth a look just for the Liverpool scarf...

Donkey Kong on Fox Kids, we used to only get the channel as a freeview for one month a year or so, but when we did I'd be obsessed with that!

      I was a He-Man fan too ;D
And I remember Thomas the tank engine! Loved it hehe :P :D

I used to love Thomas and Friends and the adventures they would encounter, I think Ringo had a knack for doing the voice for it so much to the point that you would be sitting at your desk at school reciting his phrases "Good morning said the Fat Controller" sorry "Obece Controller"
