Removing numbers

Now that we know that Gonzalez is off and the Prem is changing its style of numbers I decided to take the name and numbers off the back of my shirt... However its left a glue mark stain thingy! 





Does anyone know how to get rid of this? Im thinking about adhesive remover wipes but don't know if that will ruin the shirt.

Can't go forking out another £40 

How did you get them off Paul?  Has he definitely left?...

Anybody else got any help for Paul on this one. Anybody know what type of glue it is?

My advice would be to change your name by deed poll to Paul Gonzalez for a season.

Does it scrape off? Can it be softened with some alcohol gel or even some vodka or something then maybe scraped off?

I ironed over them and they peeled off with a bit of effort.

It feels kinda like when you spill super glue on on clothes.

I would advise buying a new shirt, they are a bit cheaper now, and the same thing happened to me when Fowler left Liverpool for Leeds in 2001 I think it was. But i didn't get his name removed and I wore the same shirt again when he signed for a second time even if it was a bit small!!! I don't think Gonzalez will sign again though, even if I haven't heard that he has left permanently!!!

You could try ringing the club store or popping in to ask? You never know - they may just be helpful 

on my 29th birthday, I had a james bond fancy dress do. I went as oddjob. I went the full hog, bicced my head, shaved & left a little oddjob style tache (I usually go unshaven for as long as possible!) & bought a black three piece suit for a tenner at a charity shop. I sprayed Banksie 29 on the back - it looked the buisness! a few months later, at another fancy dress do, me & my marrah went as laurel & hardy - almost exactly the same outfit required. I tried allsorts to get it off but nothing worked, even after dry cleaning (which cost more than the suit did!) you could still see the faint outline of the banksie 29!

Paul, this post will be of no use to you whatsoever but I thought I'd mention it anyway & tell you not to get your hopes up!

Who the Hell buys a Gonzalez shirt! That is even odder than rafa buying him in the first place.....let me open by wardrobe and dust of my Paul Stewart  shirt....which is next to my Mike Hooper goalie jersey....

Mate I didn't know you could peel your name off let alone how to get rid of the glue.. you could get another name printed over it, maybe Kuyt 18.. but then you'd want a long name. Carragher?
