Thanks for everyone's messages, bloody weather has turned a bit this week and it's been chucking it down, don't know if that will slow things down, I guess we'll see.

Well, we popped onto the site in the evening when they had finished working on it for the day. I suppose that makes me look a bit irresponsible, but I don't think there was much chance the whole structure would collapse.

Looking good Ayrton just curious to know how they got them walls up without scaffoiding or are trestles still allowed in France? because they are banned over here the do gooder brigade have had their say on them probably never worked on the buildings mind you ,worked off trestle,s for over 20 years and suddenly they are dangerous, another sign of health and safety gone bonkers before long you will have to have a vizzy on to have a dump.

I didn't know the word for it, but I believe they are using trestles.

They aren't banned over here, and to be honest if you know what you're doing, I don't see why they should be seen as more dangerous as anything else.
